2nd amendment.(it ain't about duck huntin)
As the saying goes, "it ain't about duck huntin"
“
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
”To most people who love their freedoms and constitutional rights, and want to keep those rights, this phrase is about our power to do so. It has never been about hunting or shooting sports. It is about fighting back against a tyrannical government. In the gun "community" we have people trying to tell us that we do not need our "assault rifles". The way I read the constitution and the way I interpret it is our guns are whats going to keep us a free people. So in my mind we need these so called "assault rifles". Hell, we need full auto large caliber machine guns. When the southern states seceeded from the union one of the first things they did was look for the most modern firearms possible. If our government ever tries to take away our other rights, as they try to with our second ammendment right, it will fall upon the people to fight. So are we supposed to fight a tyrannical modern government armed force with bolt actions and single shots? It just doesn't make sense to me. But then again I am of the mind that it is every Americans duty to be armed and willing to protect our land from enemies, foreign and domestic.
